International Perspective
Green is a teacher in a long-term relationship with her girlfriend. She fails to save up for the house deposit and gets fired for helping a gay colleague —in financial trouble, the couple’s only option is to move in with Green’s mother. As their uncomfortable stay extends, the mother pours all her energy into her job as a caregiver. The more she dedicates to an elderly lady in a nursing home, she cannot help but relate herself and Green’s future to this lady suffering from poverty and dementia. She slowly starts to take a step forward to embrace those marginalized beings. Slowly, the mother begins to take steps toward embracing those who are marginalized by society.
